As our infrastructures become more federated, distributed, and layered, it’s not always easy to tell who the actual end-user of our code will be or where the sources of classification might come from. We should do all we can to help them use our code safely. And when a bad actor infiltrates part of your infrastructure, it’s important to do what we can to prevent privilege escalations.
This talk will briefly cover some of the ways to write more secure Puppet and Bolt code, and some ecosystem tools and new Forge capabilities that can help out.
